tire roar????????
just bought an 02 pt ....has new el cheapo tires on it, i thought it had a bit of a tire roar (understandable being el cheapo's) but when i turn to the left it goes away....am i looking at a bigger problem?????
You could be. But tires may only "sing" (politically correct terminology for today's sensitive society
when going in a specific direction. Also, misalignment can cause tire noise.
Try putting the wheel in the air and see if you get noise when it spins. (you don't have to have it spinning at freeway speeds to check!) Any similar noise would indicate a different problem than tires.
