Windshield wipers inop
Hello
So we have a 2007 Touring Convertible. The wipers do not work on any speed. I pulled the plug and with a test light checked the connections as my wife worked the multifunction stalk. The power moved from one pin to the other pin as she moved it from low to hi, and I got power. So I checked the motor with a multi meter, and got continuity. I put 12 volts directly to the motor, and it worked. So the wiring has power, and the motor works. Is one of the other pins a signal from the TIPM? Not too sure. Seems like there is power at the plug, the multifunction switch seems to be working, the motor works, and the windshield washer works from the switch. Just not the wipers. I did clean the grounds, and used dielectric grease.
How can I diagnose the TIMP as the problem?
