ok here is what i have. 2002 town & country, 3.8. died while going down road. no spark...dealer had it a year never got it going. they installed a reman pcm and crank sensor. now i have inspected all related wiring, no chafing or obvious breaks. in another forum it recomended probing the ign coil lead for battery voltage at key on there was voltage, next it said to crank eng there should be voltage during crank. no voltage. asd relay swapped with like relay still no spark. replaced cam sensor, no spark. only codes in pcm are coolant temp sensor and mat sensor. i can provide more when given instructions on test

a dealer had it for a year??? what was that crap?
ok U have voltage at the coil did u have ground pulses when cranking on the other 3 wires?

hefmarkie 11-19-2011 09:12 PM

i had voltage at key on for a few seconds but on crank voltage was gone so i didnt go to that step ... tried energizing asd relay to c if that would start eng didnt

hefmarkie 11-19-2011 09:16 PM

most modern so called techs are just part changers i have to do some hard diagnosis on this one... not a prob Kevin... been there before as a Cad tech so help me out on this one

CHRYSLER TECH 11-19-2011 09:49 PM

I did i asked u if there was a GROUND PULSE on the other wires at the coil when cranking. Not voltage but ground. The voltage comes from the asd relay then turns off when not trying to crank the engine.

hefmarkie 11-20-2011 07:20 AM

what method should i use for that test ? test light on b+ and probe for pulse or meter

CHRYSLER TECH 11-20-2011 07:42 AM
