I have a 2001 T&C LXi with the automatic temperature control that only blows cold air when set on the lowest setting "LO". If you try to set it any higher, like even 62 or 64, it starts blowing heat out of the vents. It is not low on freon; that has been checked. Any suggestions? Thanks so much in advance.

 

Sounds like the controller is bad. What does it do in heat mode?

 

Brrrr! I would say that it is not heating properly. The weather has turned cold... about 40 degrees this am. I let the car warm up, took the kiddos to school and it was still trying to bring the inside of the car up to temp by the time I got home. In the past, I would have been baked out of there and had to turn the temp down before I got home.
Thanks so much for giving me your opinion. I'm hoping it is something I can replace myself. Any such luck?

 

Well it's a guess that it is the controller. They have them on Ebay for not that much. Look for a seller like LKQonline. They have that sort of stuff.

who cheched the freon leval? also go under the driver side and see if all the motors are moving when u turn the *****.
