Default '01 T&C -No power door locks but hatch works?!?

I've played this scenario out in my head but can't think of where the problem would lie, so put on your critical thinking caps.

Lead-up: The front passenger door lock began making whirring/grinding noises when the power lock was actuated. Over the course of a week, the front passenger door lock ceased to function with power locks but continued to make whirring/grinding noises when actuated. The following week, all door locks cease to function.

Symptoms: When using the power door lock, no clicking of the relay is perceived. Tried swapping fuses to no avail. Haven't had time to test the voltage at the driver door, BUT the power door lock is in fact locking/unlocking the rear hatch -- so I can assume voltage is present.

Question: What would be causing the door power lock systems not to be locking or unlocking? Is the rear hatch on a different relay?

Thank you for your time in this one, gents!
