Default 02 town and country brake line

hello All,
Brake line leaking on a 2002 town and country. leaking front left inside frame but cannot see too well in that area and i can't even get my hand in there from top or bottom. it does look like it is going into some type of a proportioning valve.
I was hoping to find a picture of a brake routing but so far nothing that helps. Any ideas would be a big help. It does have ABS ... thanks

Hi, yes your van should have ABS and there is a proportioning valve there just forward of the rear axle, however the, there should be 2 pipes in and 2 out. They run down the left side of the van and then under the gas tank. However, I have seen several vans including my own leak from that area

Usually you'll find one or more of the pipes are corroded, unfortunately that means replacing them and that can involved lowering the gas tank to gain access! However, pay close attention to the valve itself as I've also seen these leaking.

I've got my car about 43cm/17in up off ground at mo and there's quite a clear underbelly due to size of vehicle. Haven't done it as I cover my brake lines in grease but shouldn't be hard going under there with roll of Copper alloy brake piping, fittings and pipe bender. Would think you could just push pipe end through top of petrol tank then out other end and onward clamping pipe as you go along.
What pipe fittings come to mind, are they metric or UNC. Someone on her found this out months ago. Old fittings surely could be used if not rusted beyond use.
