i have a 1997 voyager se 2 ltr i hope someone can help me but my manual gear box is stuck in gear but the gear stick is in neutral i am slightly machanical and am thinkin of taking it off to try to sort it out but not sure if it would help or to get a new gear box or is this not the acctual problem

Sounds like the fork selector or shaft is displaced.Check all the linkages are working correctly first. If you can get the gearbox off and maybe to a specialist it may be an easy(cheap) repair. Fingers crossed.

 

My first step would be to slide under and fowler the linkage back from the bottom of the gear stick to the transmission and ensure they are all still connected at both ends!
