Default 1998 Grand Voyager III GS 2.4i Sagging rear end.

Hello all, I am wondering if you could give me some advice.

Our old and worn car is sagging pretty badly on the rear end, and we are trying to make use of it for at least 2 more years since itīs due for inspection this month. Itīs gotten to a point that if the car is loaded with adults or some weight in the back I have to drive carefully and slow across speed bumbs.

Now, I have as far as I know, 3 options.

Replace the leaflet section which is of course the best course of action, but cost at $280 a piece and thatīs without the bushings which should also be replaced.

Buy a Monroe Brand New Rear Shocks For Dodge Caravan 95-07 | eBay suspension which run at $200 a pair including shipping, without import taxes though.

Buy a Gabriel 49236 Air shocks which cost $96 including shipping, without import taxes.

Now I have just replaced the rear suspensions with a Optimal

We are also a family of 6 and usually go to the german border to shop some sodas/beer so we do use the luggage department

So, would the Gabriel shocks be the best solution? Especially since we are probably only going to use the car for 2 more years.

Regards.

Personally I'd be hitting eBay, looking for a second hand set of springs. Both the Monroes and Gabriels would do the trick but I've went this route with other vehicles and in every instance the ride sucked.
