I had to cut the harness to remove the relay because the was a short and it melted. I have a new connector pigtail that inserts into the new fan relay. But I can't figure out the color code as to which wire splices to which. If someone could give an example of how the four wires are seated in the connector and the color of each wire that would be great

 

Which "cooling fan relay" are you referring to The one out on the bumper near the left headlamp, or the interior fan relay?
