Default 1999 2.5TDI Voyager. Fuel Problem?

Hi from the UK. I have a 1999 2.5tdi Voyager. Done a lot of miles 208,000, but very few problems, except every so often when driving if I come off the gas quickly and touch the brake pedal the engine cuts out. I simply turn off the ignition and it starts again without any problem. It has been to the local chrysler dealership who say it is to do with the fuel management system which will need replacing at a cost around £500.00 !!!!!! Has anyone out there had the same problem with the suggested dealership cure, or are there any other suggestions as to a cure. Many Thanks TonyQuinto

Hi Too little info, do you have the fault codes the dealer pulled? or what they want to replace?
