Unhappy 2001 T&C 3.8 all wheel drive limited starter bolts

alright, first time here guys. I'm going crazy trying to figure out where and how do i remove the top starter mounting bolt. The bottom bolt seems easy, but i'm stumped on the top bolt. I can see the top one i think, it has two wires attached to it, 13mm nut holds them on.......but, once that nut is off, is that another nut or bolt right after i pull the two wires off? and if soo, is it from the same side, or do i go from the other side? if the other side, i can't imagine how i would get to it. all the manual says is to remove the two starter mounting bolts.

I searched the net all over, and seems i searched this fourm too. Please help me!

I have 185,000 on the van and have been having intermitent starting issue. its new battery, and it seems to me the selonoid is craping out. Bought the van used 2 years ago.

thanks,
byran

My Haynes manual shows 3 mounting bolts on the starter motor. The nut holds the grounding wire and the 3 bolts are on the same side - I don't know if that helps you any.
