Default 2001 Town & Country No Compression In Cylinder

Thanks to all who have helped me keep my minivan running well for the family. Couldn't have made the many fixes without the great input found here.

My current issue is the following. After running the car the other weekend, I went to turn off the engine and it ended up 'preigniting/diesling' for 10-15 seconds before stopping. Thinking that was odd, I tried to start the engine right afterwards, but the engine wouldn't idle without the RPM's around 3000-4000. There is NO CEL light on (thus no misfire codes). Had the car towed home and began the diagnosis. Performed a compression test and found there was ZERO compression in Cylinder #3. Also, noted that all spark plugs appear to have rich mixture on them (not nice and grey). What could be my issue? I am hoping for a valve spring issue, because anything else would appear to be 'major' (blown head gasket, hole in cylinder, rings, etc....). Let me know what I can do to see if my Town and Country can come back to life.

Thanks!
