Default 2001 voyager cruise control install problem

i installed OEM cruise on my 2001 voyager and all the wiring was already there!!! servo was all installed and also hooked up vacum lines. brake switch has all 6 wires coming out and all 6 pins. wiring harness by motor was already there. i also put the switches in steering wheel and clock spring and wheel were also pre-wired. it all hooked up fine cruise light comes on when i turn on the key now. well it will not work is there some kinda cruise computer that is to be installed down by the brake switch ???? or am i just missing something????

Go to your local dealer and ask the parts dept to see if there are any updated instructions for that kit. I have quite a few manuals from different installs where I had to make notes at wire connections because they were wrong. Most of them being add-on cruise control...lol.

The answer is no, the PCM does it all. Check your vacuum again first.
