Default 2003 T and C will not start

I have a 2003 Chrysler town and country that will not start. Nothing happens (no starter roll over, no flashing cluster in the dash just nothing) when I turn the key to start. After trying this for a minute or so the engine light comes on. If the car sits overnight, it will start. I do not whnt to have to go to the dealer and have them give me a runaround whith there diagnostic double speak. I need help.

Thanks

Hope he proves me wrong but I doubt you'll hear from frk9942 since he has made only a single post on this forum 3+ years ago.

First try jump starting with another car. Let the jumper run above idle several minutes with the cables connected then try starting. If it starts you likely have a weak battery or poor connections.
