Default 2004 Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD Alarm battery fault

Hi i have a 2004 Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD yesterday the battery went flat so i jump started it today the alarm went off for no reason that i can tell so i put a new battery on and the alarm wont reset the doors won't lock/unlock and it won't start the alarm goes off all the time when the battery is connected any ideas Thanks.

Hi
Have you checked the fuses? The alarm should stop as soon as you turn on the ignition if not by the fobs. Does the locks work on the switches inside on the doors? Don't try to start if straight off just turn on the ignition and you should see the gauges do a sweep and the indicators flash.

When i tryed it yesterday i turned the ignition on and the alarm keeped going the indicators did not flash and dont when the alarm is going

Thanks mate you were spot on fuse had gone (brake lights) dont know what that had to do with the alarm but its all good now
