Default 2004 chrysler voyager 2.5 crd orginate from

as the title suggests obv Chrysler only built petrol engines that's why they don't include the diesel engine in Haynes manuals so the engine must originate from another vehicle the ldv have a 2.5 crd possibly started from ldv ?????? as need to get manual for the engine anyone else shed any light on any other vehicles which have the 2.5 crd

its the same engine ive just found out as the LDV Maxus 2.5 crd 2004-2010 has exact same engine phone them to double check so instead of paying massive Chrysler prices order via ldv and parts will be abit cheaper for engine parts a lay lo ya

I understand the italian diesel engine used in the GV is identical to the ones currently used in London taxis, the classic "black cab".
The 2.8 diesel is very understressed at 150horse. Probably why they last so long.

I was right then leedsman ? that link is correct for the Chrysler 2.5 crd as its the same engine which also means if you buy parts from ldv rather than Chrysler parts will be abit cheaper so all you will need is a reg from a ldv with the 2.5 crd engine and get parts via their reg basically

Be careful about assuming than an engine in one car is EXACTLY the same in a different make. There can be detail differences, which, according to Sod's law, will be just the ones you are intent on working.

I'm not entirely sure everything is the same. The 2.5 and 2.8 crd engines are essentially the same but have quite a few differences. The jeeps have the same engine and again have a fair few differences. Not really had anything to do with LDV but would imagine it's similar as in not all the same. Hopefully it is for the sake of my children's inheritance
