Default 2006 2.770 diesel voyager needs new fuel filter housing

I have been having trouble with a cracked fuel filter housing, I have a 2006 voyager and know someone breaking a 2002 model....will the housing fit? Also, can I hand pump the fuel to get it going so I can drive it to the garage? Many thanks

The 2002 model has the fuel filter located under the car near the fuel tank. The 2006 model has the filter located in front of the engine. I doubt they are the same housing.

If yours has the Stow n Go seats it will most likely have the 2nd generation fuel filter housing. They are prone to cracking where the heater cable plugs in. If you pull the plug out you may see it's been burnt. I have seen replacements advertised on Ebay for about 175 quid.I have also heard of other people who have replaced the entire housing with an aftermarket unit at a fraction of the cost. If you remove the plug and then pump the primer you may see the fuel drip from the housing. I know of 1 person who used an epoxy putty similar to that used to plug holes in plastic fuel tanks. Last I hear it was still holding for him.
