2006 Chrysler Grand Voyager Trans Cooler Lines
Hi all,
Got a Transmission oil leak on the oil cooler lines on our 2006 Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD.
Tried to source some new ones via the Dealership and they are not stocking them anymore.
Anyone got any ideas where I might source a pair of pipes? Or any ideas on how to repair the ones that we currently have? (looks like the metal parts of the pipes have rusted through).
I was wondering if the cooler pipes from a 2008 GV (which I can source) might lend themselves?
Cheers,
Terry.

Hi Terry,
How did you get on please? Same issue.....I have a 2006 CGV 2.8CRD. My lines to the transmission oil cooler are leaking at the clamp that clamps the lines together a few inches back from the cooler.
I can see that getting to the bottom of the lines will be a challenge - I can remove battery holder and coolant bottle holders, but there's still cooling hoses and wiring harnesses making access at the transmission hairy.
Thinking maybe easier to effect a repair (cutting out bad section and using high pressure hose) instead?
Any advice gratefully received!
Thanks,
Peter
UPDATE- in the end I sourced replacement lines from a breaker but they leaked even worse than my originals so I had new lines made up.
