This morning m power liftgate worked fine, went back out a half hour later and now it goes up, but will not go down. It isn't binding or anything, just no repsonse to keyfob or inside switch. It didn't act funny prior to this either? Is there a seperate fuse or switch for up?

 

Replace the latch assembly.....

The door wont close because it doesnt know its already open.....

 

I went out to look it over when my wife got home and now it works? MAybe I'll clean and lubricate the latch assembly today. See if it replicated the problem! Thanks for the info to give me a spot to focus on for now.
