Last night, our van would start and then die in about 2 seconds. It did this 3 or 4 times and then would not even click to turn over. Tried to jump it and still would not even click. I got in and used a different key (I happened to have the spare in my pocket) and it started right up. turned it off and tried the original key. Same thing, it starts and dies immediately. So, one of our keys will start the van and it stays running no problem. The other, starts it but it dies immediately. The fob does not appear broken or damaged but I did drop it on the ground right before we got in the van last night. Anyone ever heard of this?

The key wasn't recognized by the vehicle theft system (SKIS??). The van thought is was being stolen so it shut down the engine. Repeated attempts shut the entire start system down. At least it's comforting to know an armature thief won't get anywhere with your van.
