Hi im new to this form and im having a problem with the passenger side door not latching i opened it manually and than couldnt get it shut again and found the power buttons dont work at all but when using the remote the lights blick like its working but the door still is not moving its stuck open i tryed messing with the rear latch it seems like its open and the front latch looks like its open any ideas thanks

 

does it need power to latch i wouldnt think so?

 

The power wires run inside of the plastic chain links at the bottom of the door. There are videos of the repair available & it's remarkably simple. My broken wire was about 3 inches from the end, where they lay in a bent position for extended periods while the door is closed. I just used a weather tight crimp connector. I'd look in there for your problem.
