I am having the dickens of a time finding the low pressure port of the a/c system. I need to top off the r-134 for a trip. Anyone got any idea where to look. I found high side port and found part of the alum tubing for the low side but no port.

The low side port will be near the compressor on the suction line.

On a 2001-2008 voyager it's located right by the compressor, directly between the compressor & the radiator. You need to slide your hand down past the rad hose and it's there. Also you can't really use one of those short charging hoses as it's quite a way down. You need an extension or a proper set of manifold gauges with a charging hose.

The location will probably depend on the engine type. The OP hasn't specified which,although it's Stateside so probably petrol.

 

My vehicle is a US version. It is 2011 and so it is the 3.6 engine. sits transverse so that a lot of the perhipals are hidden.
