Well. Took it in this morning, waited for half an hr, result, report as long as my arm all relating to ABS,Cant clear any of the faults, Cant remember all the faults, but came up with power to ABS pump, sensor`s ,god knows what else, Left it with them to actually find wot the problem is. Putting oscilloscope test etc.So waiting for phone call to tell me what the problem is and see if i can sort this out my self or not. Am limited what i can do, being disabled.

Fancy the bacon banjo.

 

bugger, the ABS pump is located underneath the car and can be prone to getting water in the electrical connections, hope it's as a simple as that

Ok They recon f/o/s sensor has jacked it. So ordered a new one, They said the rings are a bit of a mess, but they have cleaned um up abit. Everything other than the front senor checks out ok,But still showing fault till this sensor is replaced, They did check all the wiring to the ABS pump etc and connections were all fine,so Be Monday or Tuesday now,I just left it with them, let them sort it, Av never spent any money on the car,so think its time to treat it.lol

 

Not forgot to report back. just the garage is taking there time to get round to mine,Bit of a joke really.

 

Well after a week i got my car back. £210 lighter was the f/n/s sensor.Rust on the rings hit the sensor they recon.£79. for a sensor from main dealer,No one has them in only the main dealer,
Thanx again guys for advise.

 

Everyone has the OEM's which work ok .. .. but the main stealer's Mopar part is always a guaranteed fit. £130 for a read and one small bolt fitted is a lot to charge but hey if you are up 'n runnin its worth it. In future you will know it has to be the sensor that's first to be tested and eliminated. Best of luck.
