Default Belt Squeak

The belt tensioner went out on the van a few months ago. I replaced the tensioner and the belt. This squeak started shortly after. I thought it was the compressor going out but replacing that it still does it. Could it just be a bad belt or any other suggestion? I don’t know how it could be the belt tension when it was just replaced in march.

Default Yes to both

It looks like the pulley is shifting some on the alternator when it starts squealing. I can feel a vibration in the alternator when it does that. It also only squeals when the ac turns on. Sorry it took so long to reply. Had family in the hospital. Is there a way to confirm it is the alternator before I replace it?

If it is the alternator. Can I just replace the pulley or do I need to replace the whole alternator? If the pulley is squeaking. Shouldn’t a new pulley fix that?

Default Fixed

It was the alternator. All this time. I remember checking the alternator and it didn’t make a noise when you spun it but the pulley was crooked. Almost like the shaft was broke or something. Here’s a video of it spinning in case anyone needs it.
