2002 Chrysler Voyager 2.4
I know it's nearly Christmas but I don't think my courtesy lights should be celebrating the season as well.
My interior lights come on for about a second and then go off for about the same time, this repeats for about 10 times at random times. Sometimes it does not happen at all. The other night my neighbor was freaked out because the lights were flashing when my car was parked in the drive.
So where do I start with such an intermittent problem?

 

only inside lights go one and off?

 

Only the inside lights, the ones that come on when you open a door. The open door warning light on the dash does not come on. I thought maybe there's a problem with one of those door switches but with the warning light not coming on I think that's not the issue. My other thought was the light dimmer control.

 

na it is more then likely a door ajar switch is not fully adjusted

 

I had the same problem on my chrysler concorde,it was the dimmer/light switch.It drove me nuts!I too thought it was the door switch.
