I have a 2007 town and country. The only way the a/c will come on is if it is on the defrost option. Once the selector is changed from defrost to vent, floor, or floor and vent the a/c compressor kicks off. It does stay cool for a while but it eventually just goes warm. Can someone assist me with this issue?

Sounds like the A/C switch is bad. The A/C turns on automatically with the defrost option but requires the little A/C switch be pressed and lit up on any other setting.

Put your fingers on the relay while someone turns this switch on/off, the relay should click, otherwise it sounds like a bad switch.
