Default check engine light ?

Check engine light came on, code # po 405. egr position sensor circut low. Light stayed on for 1 day and went off and has not come back on. Dealer says bring it in right away. Should I be concerned or just let it go. ? This is my first experience with a newfangled modern car. Thanks for any help.

Default

If you're not seeing driveability symptoms I would let it go unless the light returns.

Default Check engine light.

Hi, relating to the EGR here, is this it saying I can't operate fully due to needing a clean. Carbon causing its piston to stick.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the replies. I found an owners manual cd on line it says if the light remains on after 3 ignition cycles to have it checked out.
