i have the same problem. All the symbols are rounded - R, D, P,.... When i move the changing stick nothing happens. i booked a diagnostic next week so will see what errors will be shown.

Does anyone had the same problem? Any suggestions about the reason.
Just one day when i started the engine and the gearbox was not working without any problems before that day.

Is it possible when the gearbox oil need be changed to happen like this?

Your car is in limp home mode. The reason can be as simple as bad battery.
Try the key dance if it shows some codes.

Or is this already sorted out?

 

Key dance showed only the code for not original key.

I fixed the problem. The problem was bad electrical installation. Some bad connection of wires. Also something of Power control module the mechanic said.
