Default clock spring ???????????

hello again..........does the clockspring control the automatic adjustment of the handbrake (gv 1999 manual 2.5) ??

nope, the clockspring is the coiled flat ribbon cable that connects the steering wheel buttons and air bag to the rest of the electronics

The O/P may be confusing terms. This Leedsman post used the generic description clockspring to describe the wound clock type spring clutch in the handbrick assembly for the handbrick lever.
