Clutch Problems
Hi All
im new to the forum
i have just purchased a grand voyager 2003 2.5crd
it was very very cheap so i did expect some issues
ive been really surprised at how comfy they are and i averaged 45mpg on a run
i think i need a new clutch
you have to push pedal down hard to floor to get it into gear (particularly 1st and reverse) i have looked at selector mech and cant find any issues
also the bit is almost immediate when lifting of pedal.
my question is
is there any way of adjusting the clutch which i know is hydrolic
cant find any way myself but worth an ask before i start the job of full replacement.
thanks in advance for any advice
Dave

I have a similar problem with a 2002 GV 2.5 CRD
Whit a heavy load I experience a slight clutch slip in 3th and 4th gear, I read that the way to test the condition of the clutch is (while parked) to get into 3th gear and with your foot on the brake slowly let the clutch pedal come up. You will feel the clutch slipping when bad.
In my case the engine stalls and without any load I experience no clutch slipping while driving so my clutch is just at the beginning of the end
I am looking into replacing the clutch and it seems to cost between €600- and €1.200,- in Holland
