I am trying to get a count of the keys that have been programmed to operate my 2008 Town & Country and have a question. We originally had 2 keys, and one of them broke. It was still under warranty, so we took it to the dealer and he replaced the key. Did that remove the broken key from the count? Has the car got 2 or 3 keys coded after that?

The reason I want to know, we have bought 3 more keys and coded them to the car. That gives us either 5 or 6 keys. One of them was defective, and the company replaced it. That gives us either 6 or 7 keys. We are getting near the 8 key limit, and I would like to know just how close to that limit we are.
