Hi. I wonder if its possible to get Cruise control to work on 2005 CV 2.5 crd Se Plus?? It does not come as standard. My car has steering wheel replaced with CC buttons one. At start up cruise light lights up same time as all others. But nothing happens when push them. Radio and volume buttons behind steering wheel works like they should. And if i do -Key Dance- diagnostic then i get cruise control related fault code (P 0579) ???? That´s weird. But no code at all with my friends diagnostic tool.
is there needed any parts under the bonnet ??
Or something fishy is with this car...i mean that maybe there is replaced little bit more than just steering wheel.

 

Cruise control is a software function on the ECU, the ECU will need to be flashed to enable the function.

it would have to be a main dealer job. You might be able to find a chip tuning company and see if they have an image with cruise control activated and immo deactivated or can code the immo to your system.

Other than that you could get an ECU, BCM and SKRIM/SKREEM from a scrap vehicle and fit them
