Default Cyl 5 Misfire

hey guys i have a cyl 5 miss on my 04 town and country. miss at adle and clears up when i bring the rpms up. i tested spark plugs, wires, fuel, and air all good. i bought a new coil and no change. i did a compression check and got 150psi. the car has been loosing coolant and have to put like half a bottle with in a week to 2 week period but the car is not burning smoke. so i thought it was a head gasket so i did a pressure check on the coolant pumped it to 16psi and the pressure dropped very slowly. and ideas what it could be?

just look for the leak to start with

there is a TSB for updated plugs and wires and computer software for a misfire.

Hi Dfinney1,

Sorry to hear about this! If you decide to visit your local dealership I'd be happy to follow up with them for you if needed. Just PM our page with your VIN and let me know!

As too loosing coolant check the preheater below the car body, left side under front seat. As too Miss on no5 make sure plug cap to HT cable is not broken and spark jumping the gap. Last one I heard of this problem caused loads of head scratching.
