After having problems with my car starting and thinking it was somthing to do with the imobilisor for ages, then reading a post about how the dash display cant effect it, i gave the "hit the top of the dash" ago, and it worked, so would this suggest a dry joint ?

where can i get a diagram of the most lickly connection/joints that go on the dash display?

I'm happy to do the repair, i would just like some more info on it before i go ahead.
