Unhappy Engine cut out on Mk3 G.Voyager 2.5crd

Loosing my mind, completely baffled read different posts on this subject.

I have a G.Voyager mk3 2002 2.5 crd with 130k on the clock. Last two months car just started cutting out usually at low revs or when turning a slow corner. It happens once two or three times a day and is very hard to start once engine gone off, sometimes leave it for a 15/20 minutes and starts once, have used easy start on occasion.

Have changed fuel filter, had the fuel filter housing checked particularly the heater element for corrosion, everything was fine. Been to 5 different garages including diesel services specialist in Ormskirk. None of the garages has brought up a fault code on the diagnostics, so i am BAMBOOZLED.

Today last garage found no faults , however, when car cut out they used booster to start it and it started once, they concluded the fault is electronic possible ECU or other electronic issues. I NEED HELP plsss luv my Grand V and so do my 5 children not ready to Divorce what has been a very faithful wife over past 2 years.

According to what I read here, the most likely causes are the cam position sensor and the other one, the flywheel/engine position sensor which should be replaced together. They don't always produce an errorcode.
One assumes there is no fuel starvation problem. My memory says there is also a magnetic pressure sensor on the super-high pressure fuel line, but this one should produce an errorcode.
Hopefully no divorce.

Leedsman, thanks a million on monday will make suggestions to garage and see, to be honest nobody wants to touch it now, they all think its too much grief and effort for no result.

Found a place in Blackburn called ACD Chrysler independent specialist any one heard of them and are they what they say they are ? I will attempt to drive the 4o miles or so to the place God willing, hope i wont get ripped off.

Finally gave in to trying to get it fixed by local garages around Liverpool mostly clueless, also too scared to drive it to ACD Lancashire in Blackburn, they are Chrysler Specialists so got them to pick it up on their recovery truck £80 quite reasonable.
The car got to them on the 16th December 2013, I am now waiting for results will inform everyone what happens. It might jut be the place to go they break Voyagers and have huge stock of new and used parts as well as specialist chrysler diagnostic equipment.

Has anybody had any experience with them ?

very odd that there were no fault codes logged. Even if the ECU was losing power then other processors would log the fault. Hopefully ACD will be able to give you an answer.
