Default engine oil leak

I have a 2010 T&C with the 3.8 and 130,000 miles. The engine is leaking oil from above the oil pan. There is what appears to be a "spacer" above the oil pan. This spacer is about an inch or two thick and is sandwiched between the oil pan and the bottom of the block. My oil leak is coming from between this spacer and the block. It is held on with several bolts but not as many as the oil pan has. Can I remove this spacer and replace a gasket there? I'm not sure what I'll expose when I pull those bolts.

Yes, it is just a two piece oil pan. There is a gasket between the upper pan and the engine, and RTV between the upper and lower pans.

Thanks. Can I pull the 2 pans as one piece or do I need to separate them.

Very much appreciate that. Thank you. I tried my Haynes manual hoping to find a good diagram that would tell me what I needed to know but didn’t find it there.

thank you

You're welcome.

Autozone has a repair guide for the 2008 T&C, the oil pan instructions are the same for your 2010: https://www.autozone.com/repairinfo/...96b43f81b3c55a
(You may have to create an Autozone account to see the link)
