Nivomat type rear shox.

Nivomat type rear shox.
I've been working on my rear end (!!!) lately removing the right side rear spring on my 2004 Euro Grand Voyager (T&C) to get space to weld the rotting rocker panel (cill) in that area. As I'm giving the van a bit of needed tlc at about 150K miles, my thoughts included new rear shox. It has these Sachs Nivomat type and I wondered about just using basic units. I read all the comments on this forum and came to the conclusion to just stick with mine which appear good.
However, for future info, I thought that if the mounting points are the same - someone said they weren't, it would be possibility in the future. Anyone know precisely?
I never carry any particularly heavy weight, in fact the 3rd row seat has been sold and the 2nd seats hardly ever in as I often carry bulky stuff but not that heavy.
Regards, JJ.
