Thanks Vmaxxer and QinteQ, I finally got access.

I fitted the second stat, but my biggest issue is how to get the air out of the system?

Antifreeze level is very high and I still have left over. I tried to squeeze the pipe, but it does not help.
Update: 20 min small trip around the town and level is back to normal. Thanks to Vmaxxer.

If the hole in your thermostat is sufficient any airlock would disappear after some driving. Just check the level after some kilometers driving and keep an eye on your thermometer.

Thanks, mate.
I drilled a small 1.5 mm hole, should be fine. Ok, will do a small trip and have a look again.
Will post some photos tomorrow of fitting process.

Set the L&R digital temp & fan to whatever you want then set the heating to auto. The next time you switch on in the morning it should just work, if the x3 vertical arrows are lit on the info-bar it means its functioning, if its not tell the group what's not working.
