Default Front passenger power lock stopped working on 2002 chrysler t&c

The front passenger power door lock stopped working on my 2002 Chrysler Town and Country. All the other locks work. I took it to my local mechanic figuring it was the power lock actuator. He said he tested it with supplied power and a ground and it worked. He thinks it is a body control module or damaged wiring in the body wiring harness. I find this hard to believe as I don't have any other electrical problems. He didn't even suggest trying a new power lock actuator. Does this sound correct? Should I take it to another mechanic to get a second opinion? Thank you for any help and advice.
