Default Front rotors

i bet i have replaced my front rotors 6 times on this 06.. and turned them a couple times...seems like alot to me... each time i try a different manufacture but they all seem about the same and start warping at about 15k miles or so.. change pads also and last time even changes out calipers... any thoughts ? should i try some of those slotted rotors this time ? looks like they are all made in china..thanks

One suggestion I will offer, the lugs nuts must be tightened evenly and torqued to spec. Cross-pattern tightening 2-3 times increasing ft-lbs with final torque to 95 ft-lbs. Would advise to not use an air-gun, hand-tighten only.

As they are cast iron, I doubt that they will warp.

Hello woodthumb , I had same problem when the wife used to use my car , and now that she doesn't ,not so much of a problem . These are very heavy cars and late braking will take a toll on all of the brake components. I calculated once that i had driven over 1,000,000 miles over my years driving , most of that in a 38 ton truck .And i've learned to go easy on brakes , clutches etc................. ! I did 230,000 in a 1989 Ford Sierra diesel and never had to put a clutch in it and can only remember doing the brake pads a couple of times over 10 years .
