We'll lower the thank later today, to check the line, but what I know is that we replaced the fuel filter on the pump (in the thank) and now I wonder if there's another one. If yes where?

Thank you for your assistance!

follow the fuel lines from the tank along the frame. the filter in the tank is known as a sock, it just prevents really big stuff from getting in. an i assume you used a brand new pump as a complete assembly?

Just the fuel pump. I mean the motor inside the unit. Came with a new filter.

hopefully it is the correct pressure pump for that vehicle. i've seen where the wrong pump was put in the box. old vans 1988-1990 used 15psi on 2.5 efi. do you have a quality fuel pressure guage set with adapters? i do and i would "T" into the fuel line near the pump to see what pressures are.

but in my case, if I had a bad part, i'd just toss in a good used one (but then I have 12 of these vans in my parts inventory)

We'll lower the tank next week, and will remove the pump if the pressure keeps sucking. Thanks for the tips!
