Question grand voyager 2004 crd 2.8

It looks like my belt tensioner has gone!

On idle it seems to be bouncing but when I apply power the tension is fine.

What is the exact problem and much will it cost??

Is it easy to do myself?

Any help would be appreciated!

Doug

Belt tensioner OR Alternator De-couplier pulley. Check pulley as there is a spring in it to cushion the belt take-up. Grip pulley, turn it with a quick jerk and it should take up and release. For repair, Flee-bay for pulley and check problem of renewing on here.
