i have aquired an aftermarket CD player for our chrysler voyager 2.5 crd lx year 2001 but the wiring adapter i have does not deal with a couple of wires on the back of the factory unit - one is white / violet & one is grey/green (this one is grounded on the back of the unit. If these are disconnected the speakers don't work. Does this car therefore have a seperate speaker amp & if so am i waisting my time trying to fit a new cd player.

 

buy a plug adaptor and it will mate up with the factory wires with out cutting.
