Default Hydraulic valve lifter 2005 3.3l

hi members,
my 2005 Grand Voyager seems to have a faulty/collapsed valve lifter.
Can I get to it by removing the inlet manifold and leaving the heads in place?
Any advice would be appreciated.
I have tried flushing the motor with a Qt of ATF in the crankcase but this has not helped.

a lifter moves a rocker arm and in turns pushes the valve so the rocker arm has to be removed o get a lifter out.

thanks Chrysler Tech,
So, off with the rocker arm and out with the pushrods and I should be able to hook the valve lifter and lift it up and out thru the pushrod hole in the head?

Never mind scratch that the 05 has it that u must take the heads off to get to the lifters there is a plate holding them down and the heads haft to come off first.
