I just bought a 1999 Town and Country and the ignition switch locked up on me. The key will not turn. Does anyone know if I need a new ignition switch or if it's something else that locked up?

 

does it unlock if you wiggle the steering wheel back and forth?

 

No, I already tried that. At first the steering wheel was not in a lock position and the key still didn't turn. I started moving the wheel and it lock the wheels. I kept trying to wiggle it back and forth to try turning the key but it is locked.
