im looking to add hid headlights and the kit i bought on amazon does NOT work. i need advise.

also i am looking to add hood struts and ditch the prop rod. is this possible??

I'm curious on your HID headlight upgrade not working, what part of it didn't work for you? A lot of the cheaper HID upgrade kits say they're "can-bus" compatible, when in reality all they do is have a large resistor in series with the bulb converter, this is actually quite a dangerous 'feature' as the large value resistor converts the wasted energy into heat which can do quite a bit of damage (A friend measured the temperature of one such cheapo resistor and it exceeded 150oC) if not cooled correctly. So initially I'd be cautious on such an after-market upgrade kit if it's in the lower price bracket.
