Default Intersting Etching on F&R Windows??

I had noticed this awhile back but never thought much until I noticed it again while just looking at van, on the front windshield I see this etched in the glass as best I can tell anyway it says
NICB Traceable
TAG 194631
877-265-1822
on the rear window I just seen a sec ago this etched in glass also
CT 2085917
800-565-7535
Any Ideas as to what these etchings are for?

That is a service provided by "Sound and Security" companies, or Maybe a neighborhood "Local Police" campaign.....

If the vehicle were stolen, it could be Identified by the etching in the glass.....Much like Animal control..if your dog gets lost, they can contact you thru the liscense or rabies tag number.

the dealer that had the car first has it in a data base so if it is stolen it can be matched up

ok cool, so what do I need to do if anything to update the info so if it happens to grow feet and wanders off they will contact me to inform me wheter they found my baby alive or dismembered?
That is a neat feature I was already super thrilled when I found out after 2 sec it would do auto-shutdown if incorrect key was used to start it, I hear it almost every day how somones vehicle was stolen via screwdriver to ignition switch

I wish I could edit my post as I forgot to say is it something that will auto update through the DMV once my paperwork is processed?
BTW is there a edit button for instances when I hit reply a bit premature like now?

.....Oh man...here it goes.....Your Joy is about to be destroyed....

Yes ..it is called "SKIM"...SENTRY KEY IMMOBILIZER....Which works absolutely awesome......BUT....

A duplicate key for your vehicle is probably around 150 bucks.....
And it must be programmed to the vehicle, so if you lose your keys...you are towing it to the dealership....And there is NO WAY AROUND IT....

Now repeat after me...THANK YOU INSURANCE COMPANY...THANK YOU ..THANK YOU...
