Default Just bought a 2006 Touring w/ NAvi A little problem...

Yesterday we bought a 2006 Chrysler Town & Country with the Spring Special Edition package with Navi.... When using the DvD player, it wont let me listen to a CD without changing the 6 disc player. (which causes the movie to stop). Does anyone know how to avoid this poblem or is it just like that???

As a wild guess:
You have a SINGLE audio/video system in your vehicle. It can only do 1 thing at a time I think.
I might be wrong as I've not seen the same setup as yours in person to check it out. You may well have a separate DVD player and CD changer but the audio channels can only play sound from 1 source at a time.
Does thyat sound like a reasonable explanation of what goes on in your vehicle?

It's weird. On the dash, you have a Navi screen with a single cd slot which houses the DVD navigation disc. If u take it out u cannot function the Navigation system but u can use the stereo or the Satellite Radio. Then you have the 6 CD changer near the bottom of the dashboard.
