Light fault?

Default Light fault?

i have a 3.3lt automatic chrysler grand voyager now i have only just notice that while driving if i apply the brake to slow down the radio control panel fades i thought nothing of it but while parking up i turned my lights out with my foot on the brake and saw my side lights were still on released the foot brake they went out everytime i apply the foot brake the side lights come on is this normal if the main beams are on they dont do it only if i have no lights on at all possible short somewhere or something else???

Almost certianly a bad earth or incorrectly installed double filament bulb in the rear light cluster.

Have you or anyone else recently replaced a tail light bulb in the rear?

If so, it is most likely inserted the wrong way round.

Fixed ty that was easy they had put the bulb in wrong lol
