Default Love my new 2014 town and country 30 aniversary edition

I love my new 2014 town and country 30 anniversary edition, Except for a few bugs and a disappointment. first the disappointment, Why does the DTE (drive till empty) indicator change to "low fuel" @ around 30 miles to go.....Wouldn't it make more sense for a DTE indicator to go to "0" to let you know you are driving on empty, like the previous years town and country did???
second I found a minor bug also: the 430 stereo drops the Bluetooth connection a lot, also the phone is connected because I hit phone button and it tells me it is connected, but no phone status is shown on the screen. Also the phone status on the screen does not appear to be accurate. It shows lower battery than my actual phone does and the signal indicator is not very accurate either.....
are there any updates to the code available to fix these inconsistencies????

go to "0" to let you know you are driving on empty
That sounds like a plan for disaster, with about 30+ miles between filling stations on most European / UK motorways being mandatory the notion that an Oooooooop's to late warning comes up too late to get the 30 miles to the next service station. Empty should be empty and 30 miles should be a clue with a 'slap~stick' that you must fill up at the very first opportunity to do so.

Best of luck with your 2014GV.

Our new Touring-L has a similar problem with the Bluetooth. I've had no time to look into it though.

Hi npavkov, is your phone an iPhone 5 by chance?

There is a TSB for this model that resolves some of the issues your describe. See below:

SUBJECT:
RHW RHP Radio Software Enhancements

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves upgrading the software on the RHW or RHP Radio.

NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with Media Center 730N CD/DVD/MP3/HDD/NAV (sales code RHW) or AM/FM/CD/MP3/NAV Radio (sales code RHP).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may experience one or more of the following conditions.
· Navigation voice prompt is now announced near maneuvers such as exit ramps.
· Radio freeze when playing large number of .M4A or .WMA files, and recovers with
ignition cycle.
· Battery signal strength display is not displayed into the radio screen (with iPhone 5).
· Traffic Announcement and Voice Recognition share the same volume control.
· Traffic Announcement volume drops after phone calls.
· Mismatch in the “Distance to next turn” between the radio and EVIC displays.
· German translations are incorrect.
· Radio reset when copying certain .MP3 files from USB flash drive to the radio.
· Radio stations info is not correct into the right side of the radio display (radio menu).
· Radio mute issue in tuner mode.
· Preset loss during/after AF Switching.
· Erratic alternate frequency switching.
· Bluetooth phone muting during European traffic announcement.
· Enhancements to the loss of preset condition.
· Lost channel presets, home addresses, address book entries & Travel Link favorites.
· Not able to change default country and state then route.
· Unable to load .jpeg files onto hard drive to display on touch screen.
· Vehicle with Start/Stop feature, the screen will go black when the engine turns off at
a stop. (International only).
· Cancel key inoperative after pressing the international button.
· iPhone 4 dial not possible after second call.
· Devices button disabled in VES menu.
· Unable to route to a recent route after a map update.
· Duplicate phone numbers in popup after pressing the international button.
· During active call and on hold, DIAL button should be displayed (not “TONE” button).
· International button not visible.
· Point of Interest (POI) Search enhancements.
· Devices button wrongly labeled as DVD using the remote DVD player.
· iPod, track selection enhancements.

I would suggest that you have your local Chrysler dealer diagnose these concerns to verify if the TSB applies to your vehicle.

Good luck on getting these issues resolved!

I purchased a 2014 30th Anniversary Edition two weeks ago. Like you, I am very happy with it so far. I have an iPhone 4S and a few days ago, Uconnect stopped working. To restore the service, I removed fuse M10 (located in the fuse box under the hood - next to the battery) for a few seconds and then reinstalled it. In my case, there was no need to have the van running or even in accsy mode - just pop the hood, pull the fuse, then put it back.
